Good Evening;
I am just getting online for the first time since Saturday and it's 15 minutes until close here at the Pikesville library. I just wanted to let you all know that the State Fair was wonderful and that Rachel had an 'awesome', (Her word....lol!), time. I was blessed by the Keno gods with an extra $20.00 and her mom gave us some cash in trade for also, so for once I was able to not worry about pinching pennies and just have a good time with no worries. We bought the $20.00 all-you-can-ride wristbands and with the big rides costing at least $5.00 @, and the kiddie rides $3.00 -4.00 @, they paid for themselves very quickly. Once we got on the carousel first, for tradition, the very next ride was the "Drop Shot" parachute drop ride! What a thrillseeker she is going to be!...LOL!!! She got to milk a cow and pet some animals and we went to the racetrack ans were right on the rail at the finish line...what a rush for both of us!
